The process
Each step enables your team to apply AI
Stakeholder mapping
10:30h
We check who is involved where. Who needs what in the process. We make visible who the people are, which systems are effected and what the outcome is.
Result: Clear sight who we build for and what

Process mapping
11:15h
The teams model the current process and cross reference the stakeholders. We draw up who needs which output when and why. Friction points where it often gets stuck and time sinks where feedback takes a long time.
Result: Roadmap where we should add AI to make it better
How it should be process
13:30h
How might we improve the process. Which solutions could help at those steps identified and model how the new process should look.
Coding time
15:00-17:30h
The team gathers round and fires up Claude code. We define an PoC scope and which three features must be part of the PoC. Then we kick off the pair programming. 2 hours later we present our first iteration to the other team.
Result: Running prototype with a real workflow and solid AI know-how in the team
Day 2 - Refine & Test layout
10:30 - 11:30
Is there anything we need to refine in our prototype, did we forget anything that needs to go in. While one person might continue vibe coding the rest designs the user test.
User Testing
11:30-14:30h
We do two rounds of testing per team by bringing in two users of the newly AI augmented process. The team notes down what is working well and what still needs a bit more improvement.
Result: Documented & tested AI augmented process that can be handed over to inhouse devs.
30 minutes, no obligation. If the hackathon isn't right for your situation, I'll say so and recommend what or who could help instead.
Your team uses AI coding tools like Claude Code to build the prototype themselves - without programming knowledge, without an external agency. This fundamentally changes the dynamics in your company:
Stakeholders see real results
A demo convinces in 10 minutes what a presentation takes months to achieve. Budget approvals happen faster.
Your team becomes an internal champion
Whoever builds something themselves believes in it and carries it forward. The knowledge stays in the company not with the consultant who leaves after the project.
AI expertise as a lasting value
Your team learns to use AI tools productively. This is not a side effect of the AI Hackathon. It is a standalone business value for you.

4-6 People
Everyone designs the solution, everyone provides expert knowledge and one builds it as "lead developer"

What is the AI Hackathon?
The team defines what the process is now, who is involved and where do they see friction and time sinks.
How should the process be to reduce friction, handover issues and time sinks. How could AI help to overcome those obstacles that slow you down.
Instead of handing over 100k to an agency your team validates the idea first.

What size of company is the AI Hackathon suitable for?
This hackathon is suitable for companies with 50-5000 employees.
How many participants fit into an AI Hackathon?
The group size is 8–16 people in two teams. Larger groups can be accommodated but this needs a bit more upfront planning on your and my end. Lets talk.
Does the hackathon take place on site or remotely?
This is best delivered as an offsite format for maximum impact. I will scout and book a location near you, take care of the catering etc.
How long is the hackathon?
The hackathon takes place over two days. We start at 10:00 and finish at 17:00 on day one. Day two finishes at around 14:30.
How does this differ from traditional AI training?
This is a 100% hands on session that takes a teams individual challenge. Where other sessions stay generic, or use idealised scenarios, this hackathon solves a real world problem of your team.
What happens after the AI hackathon?
After the hackathon I strongly recommend using the PoC and scale it up to production with your devs teams. Participants will function as AI advocates in your company driving adoption to new highs.
